PalCal ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use our mobile application.

Our Approach to Data

PalCal does not collect, store, or process your data on our own servers. All data is stored exclusively in Apple's CloudKit infrastructure and is used solely to provide the app's functionality to you. We do not have a separate database, backend, or analytics service.

Information Stored in CloudKit

The following information is stored in Apple's CloudKit to make the app work:

• Account information (name and profile photo) linked to your Apple ID
• Calendars, events, and related data you create
• Messages, voice notes, and media shared within calendars
• RSVP responses, reactions, polls, and event recaps

This data exists solely in CloudKit and is used only to provide PalCal's features. We do not access, extract, or process this data for any other purpose.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, share, or transfer your personal information to any third parties. Your calendar data is visible only to other members of your shared calendars, as part of the app's core functionality. There are no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services in PalCal.

Data Retention & Deletion

Since all data is stored in CloudKit:

• You can delete your account and all associated data at any time through the app
• You can leave shared calendars at any time
• When you delete your data, it is removed from CloudKit

Children's Privacy

PalCal is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
